Our Story

Our story begins in 2021, as any great love story does, at the pregame. At the time, Alex was in medical school in Phoenix, and Ali was working down the road from his house.

Through the mutual connection of Ali’s cousin, (shoutout Arianna), and Alex’s classmate, (shoutout Nick), Ali and Alex found themselves at a pregame that would go down in history. Ali joked when she arrived that she needed to find her future husband in a room full of med students.  Alex says that from the moment he saw her, he started making any excuse to join her conversation. Ali insists he is misremembering though, she definitely made the first move. 

Once they started talking, the conversation never stopped. They immediately bonded over their love for traveling, skiing, family, dogs, and staying active. Three and a half years later, on a cliffside at sunset in Hawai‘i, Alex asked Ali to make it forever. Since then, they’ve traveled the world (without PreCheck, sorry Alex), and learned that the best adventures begin long before reaching the destination.
